Under the Urvarasa project, farmers are given proper guidance to transition to natural farming practices and support to sell naturally grown agricultural products to consumers at a fair price. Jeeva Bhavana organisation has supported me saying, “Whatever you are doing is appreciated and we will spread this work in India and even all over the world. Even if you are facing challenges, you have our strong support.” They boosted my self-confidence. With this vision, the whole work is going forward.

I am aware of the fact that Urvarsa’s products are not for profit. Earlier I bought Urvarasa tur dal and mustard seeds which were good. The quality of the product in the market is fine but we don’t know how they are produced. The Pomegranates are small in size. Looking at it, I remembered the pomegranate of my childhood. The taste is also the same. Shevga (moringa pods) also has a nice fresh taste. If the farmers practise agriculture without looking at profit to take care of their health, I think we should be able to protect such farmers by paying more than the regular market price.

We were explained about the Urvarasa project by Madhavi in a very easy-to-understand yet impactful way. We always worry about the food that we serve on plates. It is very depressing to see the overuse of harmful chemicals in the food industry and also overworked and mistreated animals to compensate for the overwhelming demand of society. In such an environment, the Urvarasa project is a Ray of Hope. I wish it reaches out to more and more farmers. During our visit, we witnessed multi-crop techniques, producing our manure, a sustainable and effective model. Hats off to team Urvarasa and associated farmers for their genuine efforts toward a clean and healthy environment.

It was a marvellous experience visiting Urvarasa farm with family. It gave us awareness about natural farming and its benefits to the environment, both long-term and short-term. Also liked the hospitality from the farmer who showed us all around patiently and shared his great experiences. We got to taste the fruits and veggies there. The kids also learnt a lot and saw some vegetable plants for the first time. Thanks to Madhavi for organising this trip it was a learning and joyful experience. Happy to buy natural products from the farm in future.
